The McDevitt Family move week~

Our dear friends Todd, Jodi, and kids moved to Leavenworth, WA today. We will miss them so much, but look forward to upcoming road trips. :-) Monday night was a going away/loading truck party with some church friends. Tuesday, I got to watch Tom and Elsey along with Chase while they did some final packing. Today, Chase and I got to go take some last pictures and say our goodbyes. What a sad moment. :-( I decided I am next to move so I won't be the one being left again. lol ;-)

Backyard and garden! Summer '09

The backyard at my home is looking much better these days. I now have 4 blueberry plants and lots of weeds! As for my garden, we have broccoli, tomatoes, onions, butternut squash, zucchini squash, green beans, and tons of peppers! Still waiting on the asparagus and carrots to come up. It is my first garden and quite an experiment.

Amber's Hotel~

I was very blessed to get The Helphenstines for not one but two nights during their move to Idaho. Friday, the 19th, Kris, Catherine, Meghan, Bill and Carol all spent the night with me and then drove to Idaho the next day. Then on Monday on their way back to the valley for Christmas, they all spent the night again. This time, my dad and Shelly were here as well. What a house full. But boy were the pancakes just as good as the company. I will miss them all so much and pray for opportunities for future visits. Love you guys!

Christmas day my mom and I went to Smith Rock in Terrebonne, Oregon to take pictures of the snow. It was simply stunning.

While Chase spent Christmas with his dad, I got to have an amazing dinner at Robert and Holly's. Attendees were Pastor Dan, Sharon, Joe, Marsha, Gene, Penny, Robert, Holly, Tyler, and myself. Great food and even better company. Thank you Holly~
